With no shops open and no gift in hand, he went outside in the snow without shoes to gather flowers, presenting them to Riley as his solution.
The two met in London in 2008, when Riley was 22. She has previously described Musk as eccentric and unusually interesting compared to others she had met. They went on to marry in 2010 at Dornoch Cathedral in the Scottish Highlands, divorced in 2012, remarried in 2013, and divorced again in 2016.
